BURN BAN & Conservation Tips

The National Weather Service has issued a RED FLAG WARNING FOR THE ENTIRE AREA. THIS MEANS EXTREME CONDITIONS EXIST FOR FIRES TO IGNITE AND RAPIDLY GROW TO BECOME LARGE VERY QUICKLY! This is the highest level issued of concern over the conditions dealing with fire weather conditions. Please be extremely careful of any actions that could potentially start fires outdoors. Please keep a look out for smoke in areas within the parish and notify 911! Be prepared for any wildfires that may happen to grow very quickly. All fire departments are monitoring these conditions very closely along with the forestry services and will be prepared to respond as quickly as possible!
